Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of figuringoutfinance.com (the "Website") and the purchase of digital study material offered on it. The Website is owned and operated by Ankit Gupta, a sole proprietor trading as Figuring Out Finance ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Website or purchasing any product, you ("you", "buyer") agree to these Terms in full.
1What we sell
We sell digital educational products — interview preparation handbooks, current affairs handwritten notes, and related study material — for candidates preparing for banking and regulatory-body recruitment examinations and interviews in India. All products are delivered electronically as watermarked PDF files. We do not sell any physical goods.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or accessing the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
3Pricing and payment
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment partner, Cashfree Payments. We do not store or have access to your full card, UPI, or bank credentials.
- Your order is confirmed only after we receive successful payment confirmation from the payment gateway.
- We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors and to modify prices at any time before you place an order.
4Delivery of products
On successful payment, your personalised, watermarked PDF is generated automatically and delivered to the email address you provide at checkout. Please see our Delivery Policy for timelines and troubleshooting.
5Licence and permitted use
When you buy a product, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own personal, non-commercial study use only. Each PDF is watermarked with your name and a unique Order ID for traceability. You must not:
- share, resell, sublicense, upload, or redistribute the file in whole or in part;
- remove, alter, or obscure any watermark, copyright notice, or forensic trace code;
- reproduce the content on any website, app, channel, or messaging group.
6Intellectual property
All content, design, branding, and material on this Website and in our products is owned by Figuring Out Finance and protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and other applicable laws. Unauthorised copying or distribution is an infringement and may attract civil and criminal liability. Because each file is uniquely watermarked and carries a hidden forensic trace, leaked copies can be traced to the original buyer.
7Refunds and cancellation
As products are digital and delivered instantly, our refund and cancellation terms are set out separately in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, and not to interfere with its normal operation.
9Limitation of liability
Our products are provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you actually paid for that product. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any exam outcome.
10Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.
